I recently found out that i am getting a slight upgrade in my hardware for christmas!! wohoo!

A darling sweet cuddly and slightly pink-ish female friend of mine, that also smells rather nice, and also plays MMO's, is buying me a brand spankin new Nostromo N52te! Wohoo!
Just to set the record straight about this bit of hardware. As i have been playing WoW for a while, and i am the one up front tanking with my face (feral FTW!), i kind of start noticing what experienced gamers call "keyboard turners".
These people are the ones that take a while to react. They stand still and stare for a couple of seconds, just wondering what the hell is happening around them, trying to figure out what they should do next and where they should be standing etc etc. (some of them would be playing PS3, picking their nose, or masturbating vigorously to the thought of epic lewt.. and other stuff. you get the picture, no?)
Now, i'd hate to be the one they call "keyboard turner", coz i take pride in fast and effective movements keeping everything tight and deadly. And this little device makes it all happen feckin fast! /flex
If you play an MMO or any pc game that requires you whacking a lot of buttons pretty quick, i really suggest you get one of these babies. I had the N50, and upgraded to the N52 a while ago. Both were great little devices, although the N50 just didnt have enough keys for my liking. I just cannot play without it now!

Secondly, being a gamer myself, I do have a few thoughts that I'd like to share about the above. Well, I will surely have to agree with you, the new N52 looks very very nice. May I add that, the world needs more tanks like you...Guys, you gotta tank with your face and use your head!! Using the right tools is, in my opinion also very importan. If you are at least aware that you shouldn't be staring around and counting the seconds between one action and another; if you've managed to overcome the "mouse clickers" disease and if you are one of those who wants to act quick but just simply can't due to the keys layout then YES, get yourself one of those babies! I tried it a bit, and it feels great to have all the important keys at hand. Fast action! In my case, quick Dps since I never tried a tank class in any of the MMOs I've played so far. So whether I am kiting around, or just simply spamming Dps, (and loving it!), a standard keyboard just simply isn't enough!
However, I must say that in my case the N50/N52 still didn't do the trick for me for just 1 reason. I have tiny little lady hands (tiny but deadly!!), I opted for another little baby who has indeed done the magic for me.
I am referring to the Merc Stealth Illuminated keyboard, which is perfect for the size of my hands and most importantly it allows me to translate my reflexes into quick action. Whack the buttons pretty quick, just as you said. It's also a very good alternative for gamers, with 125 pre-defined profiles including WoW and other MMos too. The layout of the keys are perfect for me, my fingers just fall into place! Yes, I can also play in the dark, 3 different backlight colours to choose from.
So what else can I say!! FTW!
